The Institute for Management Studies (IMS)

The Institute for Management Studies (IMS) is an educational cooperative offering full-day management development courses instructed by some of the world's leading management thinkers.
Through membership supported by the Center for LifeLong Learning, BJC HealthCare offers this local learning option that is available to all BJC employees at a reduced fee of only $325 per person compared to other institutions which charge as much as $800 per person.
Depending on your professional development needs, your management may elect to pay for your participation or you have the option to attend on your own time and pay with funds from your BJC Learning Account. Comments

“The speaker from the U. of Texas was outstanding...he just had one real-life anecdote after another about effective communication. A good refresher on how to effectively sell your ideas in the workplace. I liked the fact that people from other organizations outside BJC attended and enjoyed comparing and contrasting our respective workplaces.”

Public Relations Manager, Children’s Hospital, Communications and Marketing

"Having recently had the privilege of participating in seminars offered by the Institute for Management Studies (IMS), I've found these sessions to be outstanding. The IMS programs that offer participants the opportunity to interact with, and learn from, some of the world's leading management thinkers on an ongoing basis.”
